Finding Peace in A Frantic World program

Finding Peace in A Frantic World is an eight-week mindfulness training program which is evidence-based, practical and empowering. It was created by Professor Mark Williams from Oxford University with Danny Penman.

This user friendly program provides individuals with the personal insights and tools to become more focussed, productive, happier, healthier and resilient in work and life. We assist people to realize their potential for making a meaningful and effective contribution in their work lives by performing at the highest level despite working in demanding environments

The program has been forged by an integration of transformative mindfulness practices with contemporary scientific understandings of human functioning. Central is the cultivation of clear, stable, non-judgmental awareness. Such awareness increases the ability to be present, regulate unruly emotions, increase cognitive capacity and respond effectively to the immediate challenges of work and life.

This program is engaging, informative and practical. In addition to learning a basic scientific foundation you will get tools and processes that you can immediately use. The program is guaranteed to create a positive attitude and sense of optimism as well as change behaviour.

What does it involve?

  • An individual phone interview, and ongoing individual support from your teacher
  • A 1 hour class, over eight weeks
  • Mindfulness meditation and body awareness training
  • An exploration of your own patterns and how to transform them
  • Scientific rationale for the practice
  • Lifetime access to Openground audio app for mindfulness practices, the official “Finding Peace in a Frantic World” book and a customised course book
