At the time of joining I was suffering a lot of grief after losing our first baby. Through this course I learned how to get comfortable with painful emotions. How to witness them in my body and not try to ‘get rid of’ or ignore them.
(I joined the MBSR course as my partner who comes from a psychology background had researched different meditation courses and spoke highly of the benefits of MBSR.)
By the end of the 8 weeks I felt more at peace and more connected with myself than I had in months. I went on to do the Wisdom and Compassion program and here I learned how to love and forgive myself and my body.
I cannot express enough gratitude to Tim and her teachings. I will reflect and keep these tools with me for life. I would highly recommend both of these courses to anyone who wishes to get to know themselves more deeply.
