Elizabeth is a qualified trainer in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and has taught MBSR for many years to members of the public as well as providing more tailored mindfulness programs to a range of different organisations.
Prior to that, Elizabeth worked as a litigation lawyer for 14 years, including at partnership level during that period. Consequently she has an intimate understanding of the pressures, issues and culture of the corporate world. Her understanding of people and change has been enhanced by in-depth training in psychotherapy– which she offers in private practice. Given her corporate background, Elizabeth has been passionate about bringing mindfulness into organisations and is strongly committed to helping people develop ways of incorporating mindfulness in their lives so as to maximise their full potential. She continues to be inspired by the changes that people make enhancing their own wellbeing and supporting ongoing personal growth and brings to all her teaching a very down to earth and pragmatic approach, delivered with much warmth and a healthy dose of humour!.
She practices in the Insight tradition - and loves surfing and wrangling her three delightful children.
