Research

Openground is committed to evidence-based practice. We collaborate in research projects with Australian universities to ensure that we offer credible and evidence-based programs and to ensure quality control. Several research projects on anonymous data are currently being undertaken and all results/publications well be listed on this website when available.

Openground's MBSR courses are based on the work of Professor Jon Kabat-Zinn and colleagues at the University of Massachusetts Medical Centre. Click here to see the areas in which research has been conducted and found that mindfulness training is beneficial.

See Articles for more information about applications and effects of mindfulness.
